Blastoise is the hardest to train out of all the starters. Charizard is the easiest because it learns good attacks really early unlike blastoise whose only good move is hydro pump.
To train blastoise, teach him ice beam, surf, hydro pump and hydro cannon.
The best spot to train is in 7 island, outside the house where you get the chansey punch thing.
Use V.S seeker, there will be 2 trainers with level 50 onwards pokemons.
The male has rhydon, kangaskhan, upsaring, slowbro and machamp.
Bring blastoise, a fly pokemon(pidgeot), electric pokemon(electabuzz for fire red,megneton), fighting pokemon(poliwrath,hitmonchan, hitmonlee) and fire pokemon(magmar, ninetales for leaf green, arcanine, rapidash for fire red).
The female has persian, dewgong, girafarig,rapidash and ninetale. bring blastoise with exp.share, poliwrath with fighting and water moves, fire pokemon
They give massive exp, if you don’t want to go there, go to cycline road where 6 trainers will battle you. also a good place but less exp.
